Home

Home is your monthly snapshot. It shows, for the selected month:

Hero card

• Spent this month — the big headline number: total of completed expenses.
• Income this month — total of completed income (prefixed +).
• Biggest spend — the single largest expense this month.
• Merchants — count of distinct merchants you paid.

Amounts in foreign currencies are converted to your base currency with your exchange rates; rows without a rate are left out of the totals and called out in a footnote under the card.

Month selector

Use the ‹ / › arrows (top of the list, under any banners) to move between months. Home, Transactions, Budgets, and Reports each have their own month selector.

Review queue card

When the app couldn't turn some notifications into transactions, a "Needs your review" card appears here with a count. Tap Review now to open the review queue. A bell icon in the top bar also shows the pending count.

Recent transactions

The last 6 transactions of the month, newest first. Tap one to edit it. View all opens the full Transactions list.

Warning banner

If notification access is off, a red banner appears: "Notification access was turned off…". Switch AutoBudget back on in the system notification-access settings, then tap Fix to re-check the status here — without access, nothing new is captured.

Empty state

Before your first captured alert, Home shows "No transactions yet" with a hint about the review queue.

What counts as "spent"?

Only completed expenses count toward Spent, Income, Biggest spend, and Merchants. Failed, pending, and reversed transactions are stored but hidden by default — see Transactions — hidden items.
